Multi-domain not loading a site

I have the multi-domain plugin installed as well as domain mapping.

I had a site in my multisite that was at first called abc.xyz which I then renamed to realdomain.com

Using domain mapping I have mapped http://www.realdomain.com to realdomain.com, but when I load the site http://realdomain.com I get the admin site for the multisite.

If I use http://realdomain.com/wp-admin, it works fine.

http://www.realdomain.com also loads fine, which shows that domain mapping is working.

How do I fix this?

    Hello Roland,

I hope you’re well today and thank you for your question!

I’m not sure if I’m following you on this so let’s make sure that we are on the same side.

The “abc.xyz” was a sub-site of your Multisite, is that correct? What do you mean by “I renamed it to realdomain.com”: did you change the “Site URL” option for it and then also mapped with Domain Mapping or did you just use Domain Mapping?

Could you also please grant me a support access to your install so I could check its settings? Here’s a guide on how this can be done:

abc.xyz was a subsite, yes. The actual site is als.gtst.xyz

In the meantime I have removed abundantlifecpt.co.za (which is the actual domain) from the multi-domain list. Then, with domain mapping, I mapped abundantlifecpt.co.za to als.gtst.xyz.

    I have enabled support.

    Hello Roland!

    Thank you for your response.

I must say though that I’m still slightly confused

The “gtst.xyz” domain – which would be the main site of the network – loads the site with the default Fixer theme setup.

However both “als.gtst.xyz” and “abundantlifecpt.co.za” load the “Abundant Life” website for me. This would mean that the mapping works fine. Is the “abundandtlifecpt.co.za” loading a different site for you?

    Let me know please.

    Best regards,

    Adam
