Show membership access field on custompress post editor

I have several custom posts that I have made with custompress. I also have membership 2 pro installed that I use to manage users access on my website. However the membership access field with Enable Protection in it shows up on the standard post editor but not on the custom post editor.

I've attached two screenshots, one with the field I want to add (highlighted with red box) and a screenshot of the custompost without it.

Any help in resolving this would be greatly appreciated.

    Hey there Adam,

    hope you're doing good and thanks for reaching us! :slight_smile:

    Membership levels of custom post types can't be handled via the custom post type edit screen. This would require some custom coding which surpasses the scope of this support forum and you may have to advise our Jobs & Pros section for this kind of custom work (please keep in mind that there're no WPMUDEV staff members included).

    What you can do though, is:

    1. Enable the "Individual Custom Posts" addon from Membership 2 -> Add-ons

    [attachments are only viewable by logged-in members]

    2. Set the membership levels per custom post type item via Membership 2 -> Protection Rules -> Custom Post Types Items
