Shortcodes on Custom Posts dispayed on a page

I have created a custom post type which I’m useing to keep clients galleries on. The galleries are displayed on Nextgen gallery.

All of the posts are listed on a page added to the buddypress profile. I can see the custom posts appear on the page and can view the content, I can’t however get into the gallery which is added to the post through a shortcode, this has happened with other shortcodes for other plugins aswell such as the shortcodes ultimate plugin. The plugin shows in the content but cannot be used.

However if I open the custom post on a seperate window all the shortcodes work.

Is there any way I can get the shortcodes to work in the custom post when its displayed on a page.

    Hello Adam,

I hope you’re well today and thank you for your question!

I would like to take a closer look at your setup in order to get a better picture of a case. Would you mind granting me a support access? Here’s a guide on how to do this:

    https://wpmudev.com/manuals/wpmu-dev-dashboard-enabling-staff-login/

Provide me also please with information on the name of custom post types in question (if there’s more than one custom post type) and where can I see the issue on the site/what steps exactly should I follow to replicate the issue.

    This would help a lot!

    Best regards,

    Adam

    Hello Adam!

    Thank you for granting access.

I checked your site and while inspecting the BuddyPress page in question I noticed some JS errors in browser console. I have then disabled “minify” and “combine” options for related JS scripts in Hummingbird’s Minification settings and it seems like it’s now working.

Could you please clear your browser’s cache and check it again? Let me know if it’s working fine for you now and/or if I didn’t missed any aspect of it.

    Best regards,

    Adam
