Coursepress Pro Broken from The Events Calendar by Modern Tribe

When I have The Events Calendar by Modern Tribe activated, the plugin becomes completely unresponsive and stuck on a white overlay when trying to create a course. What can I do to solve this and get the plugin working? At this point I’ve have a few compatibility issues on different sites and with this particular project.

Thank you

    Hi Jeremy Kasdorf,

Hope you are doing good today.

I tested both the plugin, and I’m able to notice this conflict. However, I don’t see any errors in the console, nor any errors in the debug log file which makes it hard to troubleshoot. I’m pinging the developer regarding this, so that he would be able to have a better idea regarding whether the conflict is related to CoursePresso Pro, or not.

If you haven’t used The Events Calendar plugin extensively, you could try the Events+ plugin which should work out of the box without any conflicts with other plugins:

Will keep you posted once I get an update from the developer regarding this asap. Have a nice day.

    Kind Regards,

    Hello Jeremy,

I’ve also notice while trying to work with the plugin that I can’t get the user list for manually adding a student to populate, rendering manually adding a student impossible at the moment.

Is adding students work when you disable The Events calendar? I’m checking this issue on my site and I can’t replicate – with Events Calendar I can still add students to course.

Would you mind allowing support access so we can have a closer look at this?

To enable support access you can follow this guide here:

    kind regards,

    Kasia

    Hello Jeremy Kasdorf,

Hope you are doing good today.

I got an update from the developer regarding the compatibility issues with both the plugin. The developer tested the plugin with The Events Calendar plugin, and unfortunately the conflicts seems to be related to the The Events Calendar plugins side, and there isn’t much we could do in CoursePress Pro to correct this.

The developer was able to notice that the a jQuerey is adding the following class:“ui-accordion ui-widget ui-helper-reset ui-accordion-disabled ui-state-disabled” to one of the div of CoursePress, that was causing issue, ie:

    <div id="course-setup-steps" data-nonce="f4648aa739">

And also, The Events Calendar plugin is loading JS/CSS in every page of the admin area, instead of targeting specific plugin page, and this is something if corrected would help CoursePress Pro plugin to function smoothly along with The Events Calendar plugin.

Would recommend you to get in touch with the plugin developer with all the observation we have made, so that they could fix these out.

I hope this helps. Please let us know if you still need any further assistance. Have a nice day.
