Hustle suggestions:

Allow the text of the Submit button to be edited.

Allow HTML in the content box. A good example would be HTML entities such as ™

Allow pulling forms from AWeber directly for situations where existing forms have been created on AWeber rather than rebuilding the form in Hustle.

Thanks,

John

    Hello sawyerjw,

I trust you’re doing good and really appreciate your feedback here!

A minor note, all strings used in Hustle should be translatable from

    /wp-content/plugins/hustle/languages/hustle-en_US.po

You can always re-generate your .mo file with a program like poEdit and use it like

    /wp-content/languages/plugins/hustle-en_US.mo

    Take care,

    Hey John

Have a better look in my previous reply please. Your custom translation files from your plugins should be placed in /wp-content/languages/plugins/ folder.

    For example, /wp-content/languages/plugins/hustle-en_US.mo

As this file is outside of the actual plugin folder, it’ll stay intact after every possible update.

    Cheers,

    Dimitris

    Hi, Dimitris,

Here’s another suggestion: the options to Trigger Immediately or Time Delay are confusing. Setting the Time Delay doesn’t automatically select the Time Delay, but leaves Trigger Immediately selected. It would make more sense from a user experience perspective to either eliminate Trigger Immediately and set the Time Delay to 0 to get the same effect or to automatically select Time Delay when a value is set in that field.

Also, regarding the use of language files to modify the Submit button, this is unnecessarily clunky, especially for non-technical users. It would be much better to simply provide the option in the plugin to edit the Submit button text. Many other opt-in plugins provide that option.

    Thanks,

    John

Well I will definitely add my vote for the Submit button text being an option.

Frankly was very surprised this was not a day one feature, let alone still missing on v2.0.

‘Submit’ is almost never a good user experience choice for a button label.

And agreed, editing translation files is a painful hack.

Sorry to sound negative – just want to get my vote in! Otherwise very glad this plugin exists and is being progressed! Wanted to get my vote in!

    thanks

    Simon

PS – It’s probably just a poor choice of words – but saying “let’s hope our developers find this thread” is not that reassuring.

    Hi Simon,

Thanks for the input, it can’t be really considered a hack but I see how it’s not much user friendly and it does require additional steps for a simple change.

And yeah, it was a bit of a poor choice of words before, our developers will see this, however based on the number of votes they will see if this would be added and how much of priority it gets.

I believe this should be fairly easy addition and hopefully we’ll see it added soon

    Best regards,

    Predrag
