Backup issue – any way to remove?

Hi,

We host our sites on Flywheel so it manages backups for us. The only reason I install Snapshot on the sites is to occasionally do a manual backup before I make changes to the site.

For this reason, I never intend to use your cloud backups, but in The Hub it constantly shows red “backup issues” against all sites.

Is there any way to hide those backup issues?

    Hello Shaun,

    I hope you’re well today and thank you for your question!

    The Hub will always notify you about backup issues if Managed Backups are activated. If they were never active on the site, there’ll be no warning but just a gray backup icon. You could try then deactivating the feature in snapshot plugin and see if that removes the warning.

    hope you’re doing good and don’t mind chiming in here! :slight_smile:

    I was able to replicate this state, having Snapshot plugin activated but Managed Backups deactivated.

    I already asked our devs about that and it seems to be our default functionality though, as all notifications in Hub are about managed (full) backups rather than simple local snapshots.

    As both Snapshot and our Hub page are under development constantly though, I’ll move this thread to Features & Feedback section for further consideration by our dev team.
