Courspress – Instuctor Capabilities and Dashboards

I would like to know what DASHBOARD functionality my instructors should be seeing on the website (frontend) and know how to turn off the ability for Instructors to:

– Delete/trash Courses

-Edit or Create Categories

    Hi Josh,

    Hope you are doing good today. :slight_smile:

    In terms of CoursePress instructor will only see, or have permissions in the dashboard as configured under CoursePress > Settings > Instructor Capabilities.

    [attachments are only viewable by logged-in members]

    Depending upon these options, instructors will have specific functionalities in their dashboard. You can enable/disable according to your needs, and it should work fine.

    Thank you for the response to my question. Ill work on PRIVILEGES for instructors and students.

    Regarding the DASHBOARD, how do the instructors see the dashboard and what does that look like? I have added the COURSEPRESS Dashboard to the menu, but I dont see anything when I click the menu item except a blank page.

    Hello Mike,

    Blank page is for sure not correct. Instructor in Courses Dashboard should see list of the managed courses, something like that

    If you see totally white screen there, try first using standard WordPress page instead of the virtual one [attachments are only viewable by logged-in members]

    if this will not help please run a quick plugin/theme conflict test as illustrated in getting support manual (flowchart). Let me know how it goes.
