    Hey there Shaan,

hope you’re doing good and thanks for joining us!

Have you linked an “image” or “button” element with a lightbox? If so, this is a reported bug already, if not, please let me know which element exactly has a lightbox set already.

if i am changing font color or size or any thing from upfront its not reflecting on element

I can see that you are referring to UF Builder but I can see that you’ve used UF editor too. This can be seen in Upfront -> General -> Debug Options [box] as there are at least three layouts created via UF editor and they are site-specific.

Here I’d like to mention the difference between UF Editor and UF Builder.

Editor is coming along with UF parent theme which comes along with every child theme in our collection. It can be used to create site-specific UF settings, settings stored in your DB for the specific site.

Builder is a plugin on top of UF Editor which help you create or edit child themes, meaning the actual child theme files.

Any changes made in UF Editor later, overrides the default settings in child themes (created via Builder).

Having said that, could you please point to me

    – which font size you’re trying to change, like which part of webpage

    – are you using Builder or Editor?

    – how you’re trying to make that change (which CSS selector you use or which UF setting)

Keep in mind that if you’re making a change in UF Builder, which is already overriden by another setting in your DB (made by UF Editor), you shouldn’t be getting any actual change and only in a fresh/reseted child theme you should be able to.

Finally, I’d rather propose to increase the PHP memory limit assigned in WP. Simply access your server via FTP, edit the wp-config.php file and insert the following line just above the /* That’s all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */ comment

    define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '128M');

    Ref: https://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP

    Looking forward for your feedback!

    Warm regards,

    Dimitris

    Hey there Shaan,

hope you're doing good today!

So it seems that you're using buttons with links to lightboxes. As I mentioned in my previous reply this is a already reported bug which will be fixed in a future release. I really can't provide any estimated time on this, I've already updated our internal bug report with your case and this thread though, so if there's going to be any development about it, me or another colleague of mine will keep you posted here!

You just have to keep an eye for any Upfront updates in WPMUDEV Dashboard or in your Hub/My Websites page here https://wpmudev.com/hub/my-websites/

As a workaround, I'd rather advise to create new lightboxes as you can't edit the existing ones and then you can delete any that you don't use anymore.

    Hello Shaan,

hope you’re doing good today and I’m really sorry for the frustration here!

Current bug doesn’t allow you to edit lightboxes linked to “Image” or “Button” elements, but only those linked to “Text” element.

As I already stated before, you can create a new lightbox and assign it to your buttons as you can’t edit the existing ones (and delete any lightboxes that’s un-editable and aren’t used anymore).

Upfront is a product with constant development though, so I hope that this will be resolved in next update.

As for your other issue, I can see that my colleague Nithin is handling it, so I’ve already pinged him to follow up there.

    Warm regards,

    Dimitris
