Correct Answer Details + Notes

For the course modules I need to create – there are multiple choice questions – that when the correct answer is scored need to return some additional info too the student. There doesn’t currently seem to be a way to do this.

Also we would like the student to be able to store notes to record their thought process during the course – I can see there is the option to add a long answer – so I presume this is the best way to capture this info for the student at the moment?

    Yes, you are right, at the moment there isn’t any way to make this work, it would require custom coding. I could see you already have opened a feature request regarding this, so more users who supports this the more it’ll be considered for implementation.

    Yes, at the moment that would be a quick workaround for adding notes, other than that, I’m afraid there isn’t any other way to implement this.

    Hi – if the option to add ability to provide a response along with confirming the answer isn’t currently possible… if we find someone that can custom code it – what happens when coursepress plugin is updated?

    Hello John,

    Ideal solution in this case is developing separate plugin that will add this feature to CoursePress, so when CoursePress is updated then feature is intact.

    We don’t advise to change plugin code as every change will be removed from plugin after update and then applied again.

    But good developer will know about that so they should be able to add this feature from outside the plugin.
