[Appointments+] Translate Appointment+ & use Google Calender

Hi,

I would generally translate the plugin to german language for our clients. What is the best way to do so, especially when it comes to updates?

Also I would like to know if a google calender is connected, will it also “read” the scheduled meetings from the calender and block the time from beeing booked. Can I add a google calender for every employee?

Thanks

Norbert

    Hello nnpro,

I hope you’re doing fine today!

I would generally translate the plugin to german language for our clients. What is the best way to do so, especially when it comes to updates?

The best way would be to use translation files that are already available. You will find German translation here:

    https://wpmudev.com/translate/projects/appointments/de/default/

To use it on site, scroll that page down and use the form at the bottom to export both .po and .mo files, then upload these files to the

    /wp-content/languages/plugins

folder of your site via FTP or cPanel’s “File Manager” tool.

Also I would like to know if a google calender is connected, will it also “read” the scheduled meetings from the calender and block the time from beeing booked.

Our Appointments+ plugin includes Google Calendar integration. You can configure it on “Appointments -> Settings -> Google Calendar” page. It can be set to “two way” integration, meaning that time marked in Google Calendar would also block relevant booking slots in the plugin and be reflected on “Appointments -> Appointments” booked appointments list in “Reserved by GCal” section there.

Can I add a google calender for every employee?

There’s one “general” Google Calendar to be set but you can allow each “service provider” to have their own Google Calendars integrated as well. That means that as long a given account on your site is set as “service provider”, that account can have separate (user’s own) Google Calendar integrated. Users can set their calendars’ integrations via their profile settings in site’s back-end.

If you have any additional questions, let me know, please.

    Best regards,

    Adam
