[MarketPress eCommerce] Marketpress enhanced

I need add-ons for Marketpress and the only source I found online is http://www.marketpressthemes.com, their “wp mojo” plugin offers good features for Marketpress. But I can’t download the free version and I can’t contact them. I don’t know if they are out of business or what.

My question, Is there another source online rather than “http://www.marketpressthemes.com” that provides add-ons for Marketpress?

    I’m not aware of any other sources, I’m afraid. Is there anything specific that you need? Maybe some of WPMU DEV Members already has some custom code to share :slight_smile:

    Mohammad I see you’re new here. I’m another member, not staff. What you’re asking is a huge topic here. It’s the subject of many threads on WPMU DEV plugin extensibility (mostly mine :smirk: ) which will allow third-party developers to create add-ons for all of these products, enriching the ecosystem around all of these fine offerings. My ongoing mantra here is for the company to:

    :loudspeaker: Invest in making products more developer-friendly (like Woo, Yoast, and other popular names including WordPress itself) rather than trying to cost-justify and allocate resources for an endless number of specific changes

    With that methodology they’ll be able to add-on to their own plugins, providing the features we need, and allowing us to disable features we don’t need, and remove them from the actively loaded code set that gets processed on every transaction.

    So No. At the moment there’s like zero developer interest in any of these plugins, no third-party ecosystem at all. I don’t see anyone using or referring to Mojo or marketpressthemes. WPMU DEV plugins are not in any way seen as a platform. They are all entirely supported by WPMU DEV with no public contributions or integrations from the field. That’s a sort of harsh truth.

    Personally I’d like to see that completely changed. But only time will help with that.

    If that doesn’t suit your needs then my personal recommendation is that MarketPress is not what you’re looking for.
