Feature Request: Hub based, data/settings import

0

After seeing the newer feature in Hummingbird, to click on the “Past in recommended defaults”, in Advanced Tools -> General -> Prefetch DNS Requests section, I was curious if we could see more of those types of settings throughout. Namely in Defender. It’d save some time if you could click to preload Admin, Administrator, domain and domaincom.

Then I thought, “Well, although the populating more defaults would be a time saver, a real time saver would be if the core utilities could have a simple, super time saving, default settings set(s) to choose from. …that’d really save me a TON of time!”

something like the following

Import Your Custom Settings from The Hub:

1) settings set 1

2) settings set 2

3) settings set 3

4) etc, etc

    Hello splaquet,

That does sound good – I checked and looks like it we might actually have that on list of new features to implementation.

I will move your thread to Feature and Feedback forum so more member could share their opinion on this – and vote – more votes will give this higher priority.

    kind regards,

    Kasia

debbien , i’d assume that you know about the Product Roadmap page?

    https://wpmudev.com/roadmap/

In my opinion, as ‘cool’ as it might present itself, it definitely lacks several details that’d include the specifics that we’re typically looking for.

Whereas, a line item such as the following kinda sums it up:

    – A single clear cache button that sits in the WP Admin menu that gives easy access to editors and admins

This type of line item really leaves us in the dark (and this vague one is listed right below the previous one):

    – Expand Mutlisite controls to site admins

…oh, and Timothy Bowers , someone’s typing Mutlisite a little too quickly. It’s Multisite mate
