    Hello Darren,

I’m sorry about this issue with the Snapshot plugin.

I will need to escalate this to our Second Line Support Developers to check further. I haven’t seen this type of error before, so they need to have a closer look at that.

We will keep you posted about our findings.

    kind regards,

    Kasia

    Hello Kasia,

I was wondering if your Second Line Support Developers had managed to check out why we are having problems with Snapshot plug.

It seems to be working fine for our other 3 sites we have set up.

When the scheduled backup happen last night Monday 18 Mar, yet again our site bereavementsupport.co.uk is timing out at 50% and has not uploaded to your cloud.

I hope you can look into this ASAP.

    Regards

    Darren.

    Hi Support,

I was just wondering how you are progressing with the problem with snapshot not backing up on to your servers.

It has now been over a week since I brought this to your attention and you escalate this to your Second Line Support Developers.

I know you said in your last email, Tues Mar 2019, I would get an e-mail notification. but my boss thinks that if it is now with your Second Line Support Developers things should be moving a lot quicker.

Please, can you give us some progress ASAP so I can report back to him?

    Regards

    Darren.

    Hey Darren ,

Sorry for the late reply we were having some issues on our end with the API but that’s fixed now.

Apart from that I’ve seen that the server was going out of memory when the upload process was happening that’s why the backups couldn’t reach our servers. I’ve added a mu-plugin named “snapshot-upload-fix.php” that basically breaks the upload file into smaller chunks so your server can handle it.

You should see 2 fresh backups taken with todays date one after the other as a stress test that were successfully finished and uploaded to our servers.

Tell me if you need further help!

    Regards,

    Konstantinos
