[Hosting] cache issue with front and back-end

My site is hosted with WPMU Dev hosting. If I update page contents it gets updated in front-end website but the content is cached in dashboard edit pages. The admin dashboard is cached. If I flush object cache it only clears then and I can see updated page content in edit page.

    Hi Jon,

I tried checking your site further but the 2FA in Defender is enabled so I was unable to login with the provided account?
Could you temporarily disable 2FA until we check this out further?

I did some tests on my end though by installing KingComposer on my WPMU DEV hosted site and I was actually unable to save any changes for post content, all it saved was the title change but none of the content changes were being saved.

I then tried it on two more installations (one completely fresh) hosted outside of WPMU DEV and the same thing happened.

It looks like this plugin is having multiple issues and it’s not related to caching since the other two sites have no cache enabled, server or site end.
I would suggest getting in touch with KindComposer support about this as well so they can have a look from their end and check what might be happening here.

    Best regards,

    Hi Jon,

The issue seems specific to that page as the new page I created for testing worked fine.
It seems that there are some issues writing to DB and it looks related to Wiloke Listing Tools plugin.
I see that you have created staging site already, is it ok if we push the latest version of your live site to staging and do some further tests there?

    Hi Jon,

I was unable to replicate the issue on your staging site and while I was checking this I noticed that the CPU usage is maxed out on your site for quite some time.
After checking the logs it seems that we’re again seeing Wiloke Listing Tools being mentioned in both error and slow logs.

Can you try disabling this and any other plugin dependant on it to see if that will bring the CPU usage down and if your changes will save properly as well?

    Best regards,

    Hi Jon,

Did you perform the test mentioned in my previous reply and disabled Wiloke Listing Tools and other plugins dependant on that to see if the changes are saving properly after that?

This plugin seems to be the culprit of couple of things happening on your site and in order to see if it’s the cause of the changes not saving we need to have the results with that plugin disabled.

    Best regards,
