[Membership 2 PRO] Membership display order not working

Hi.
Our sort order on memberships is not working. When I save a membership as #2, 3, etc., it always goes back to #1.

    Hi Robert ,

Thanks for sharing the Staging website, I gave a quick test, and I’m not able to replicate any such issue when tested in the staging.

I could change the order to any number, and it seems to work fine. Am I missing anything? Please advise.

Could you also please check whether clearing Object Cache resolves the issue noticed in the Live Website? Object Cache can be cleared in the Hosting Panel, under Tools tab.

If you still notice anomalies regarding this in the Live Site, please do whitelist the countries mentioned by Ash temporarily, so that we could check further if needed.

    Kind Regards,
    Nithin

    Hello Robert

I can see the issue on your site. But Nithin confirmed that the staging site is okay. I have also tried the feature in my test site and it worked fine here too.

Okay, this is a cache issue. Please change the order, Hosting interface > Tools > Flush object cache. Then, go to your WordPress admin, clear page cache and check.

I have changed some orders and it worked.

I hope it helps! Please feel free to ask if you have any more questions regarding this.

    Cheers,
    Ash

    Hi.
Same thing is happening on adding membership email auto-replies. The WPMU hosting doc states:

“Are you sure? The object cache should only be flushed if absolutely necessary. It is usually not needed except after making direct database edits or during development. If you aren’t sure, contact support and we’ll help you out.”

Is it okay to continue to do this each time we update or add email templates?
    Thanks.

    Hi Robert ,

On further testing, this seems more of a compatibility issue with the plugin, and more due to Object cache caching the numbers once changed, the membership orders do work fine once switched. The correct numbers values only get reflected once Object cache is cleared.

Regarding the email Templates, it should have been fixed in Membership 2 Pro v 1.1.6. I could notice you have version 1.1.5 installed. I’m attaching the last version, please do check, and see whether it helps. Please make sure to create a backup before updating the plugin.

The object cache is meant to clear out any anomalies noticed within the dashboard side due to cache. Clearing out object cache should be fine in such instances if you are looking to get the changes reflected immediately.

    Regards,
    Nithin
