[Defender Pro] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: [] operator not supported for strings in /pro/con

just wanted to submit this. was working on something else and had debug.log open. saw the following come through, and wanted to report.

    Hi splaquet ,

    The above error occurs due to the PHP version 7.1, could I know what’s the current version of PHP you have for the website? Could you please try a version higher than PHP 7.1 ie 7.2 or 7.3 and see whether you still get the same issue or not?

    If you still notice the issue even after upgrading PHP version please do mention the PHP version you are using and share the WP admin and FTP login so that we could check further.
