[Forminator Pro] Cannot create Poll on mobile device

Can anyone here create a poll on a mobile device? I just had a really bad experience but I’d like to know if maybe it’s something local or if it’s a general issue.

Please confirm your ability with the following info:

Device : Phone or Tablet
OS : Android or iOS / version
Browser : Chrome, Firefox, Opera

Please use this response format so DEV can create a simple and complete list:

Yes: Tablet/iPad, iOSv99, Opera
No: Phone, Android 11, Firefox

Specifically: On your mobile device, open any site, WP Admin, Forminator, Polls. Create a new poll. Just add a description, question, answer, and save as draft. No need to go into detail or publish.

If you can’t do that, please summarize what happened. No detail is required. DEV might tell us that some features aren’t supported on any mobile platform. OK, let’s not waste time.

It’s my belief that we will find that some device/software/configuration affects the UI for poll creation. From there many other features of Forminator or WPMU DEV plugins might be unavailable. This is just the canary in the coalmine. ;) I will be happy to be wrong. If I’m right, I’m happy to report to WPMU DEV that there is a general issue and I look forward to their normal processing. Either way, we all benefit from this exercise.

LOL … If WPMU DEV actually used Forminator on this site I’d recommend that they create a Poll for all of us to report our experience with this and other features. But I kinda doubt that will ever happen with this specific site.

    Trust you are doing good, and thank you for reporting this issue.

    I checked this at my end and was able to replicate the issue on an Android and iPhone device.

    I have now escalated this to the Forminator team as a confirmed bug. A fix for this will be released with one of our upcoming updates.

    I am building a new site (referenced privately) and this weekend was using my Android 11 Pixel phone for some of the admin/dashboard configuration details. Many text fields in WPMU DEV plugins do not accept focus/input.

    To be clear, this is not limited to Forminator. The same issue needs to be checked in all of your plugins. Just have staff from each team use their own plugins from their own devices (iPhone, Android, whatever) and record whatever issues they find.

    Honestly, I don’t see this as a big priority – site mainenance is sport to be played on the playfield of a desktop. However, I’m guessing there is something simple and common to all of these controls/scripts that might be easily remedied. It simply doesn’t look good that we can use the WordPress dashboard for everything except plugins from WPMU DEV.
