Getting users to make connections on any social network can be a challenge if the user isn’t motivated to search for people he knows.

Brajesh Singh of BuddyDev.com has created a free plugin called BuddyPress Friends Suggestions Widget in order to help users get connected to each other.

Features of Friend Suggestions Widget:

  • Show suggestions based on the friends of friends connections
  • Allow users to hide a suggestion from showing in future
  • Allow site admin to limit the number of suggestion shown at a time
