[Appointments+] WordPress does not send emails to customers when booking via website

Hi,

I want my customers to receive email notifications when they book a treatment at my website. Currently, they don't.

I want them to be able to cancel their bookings as well. I know these functionalities are built into Appointments+ but I can't get them to work properly.

How do I activate/fix the email notifications?

Cheers

    Hi Andreas,

Thank you for contacting WPMU Support!

Under Appointments > Settings > General > Notifications, you have the option to set up confirmation and reminder emails for client and/or providers. In order to better assist you, could you please provide me with Support Access to the site that is having the issue(assuming is salensmassageklinik.se).

    Look forward to your reply.

    Best,

    Jonathan S

Hi! How do I share my login credentials without everyone seeing it?

    Is this topic public?

I have all notifications toggled on but it seems that I can't send e-mails from my wordpress site.

I have installed SMTP mail but it is not sending emails from Appointmenst+.

    Hi Andreas,

Hope this message finds you well.

You can provide me support access by navigating in WP admin area under WPMU DEV -> Support page and click on the “grant support access” button. You can find detailed information about it here: https://wpmudev.com/docs/getting-started/getting-support/#chapter-5

For additional credentials such as WP-admin and FTP access, send us your details through our safe contact form

    Hi Andreas,

Could you please proceed with a conflict test?

First, create a recent backup in case you lose any settings during the test and have to restore to a previous working state.

Then deactivate all plugins and MU-plugins apart from Appointments+, activate a default theme like TwentySeventeen, clear all caches and check again if the issue is still there. If not, it means that something is conflicting, so start activating the remaining plugins and theme, one by one this time, checking every time for the reported issue, until you reproduce the issue, thus finding the conflicted combination.

The following flowchart image can assist you during this test:

If this is a live website with traffic, I’d rather advise to create a staging environment, meaning a complete and exact copy of this installation into another location/folder in the same server, using a separate database, and perform the test in there instead without worrying about the live site.
