Buddypress: Group Events, display as a list instead of a calendar

We have turned on the Buddypress: Group Events sub-plugin for Events+ which works nicely, except the boss would like to display a list of events instead of a calendar.

I could not find a way to change this at the group level, like we can change the “appearance settings”.

Any thoughts on how to do this and where to start?
