Collecting Data and Saving To Database using Forminator

Hi,
A client wants to have local businesses fill out a form with accessibility info on their business. This will be used to develop a new accessible travel site. We want to save the data to a database so we can easily search it. Can forminator do this? If so, what database plugin or tool should be used in conjuction with forminator to make this happen?

    Hello cornelius_butler

    I hope you’re well today!

Yes, Forminator can do it and there’s no need for any additional plugin. It stores all form submissions in the database by default, unless you switch that option off on purpose.

Once you get the form created in Forminator, make sure that the “Disable store submissions in my database” option in form “Settigns” is not switched on and every submitted form data will be kept in the database.

You can then check these submissions on “Formiantor -> Submissions” page. You can also export them from there to a “CSV” file which you can later use with 3rd-party applications such as e.g. Google Sheets or Excel.

    Kind regards,
    Adam
