[Defender] Error in debug log relating to Defender

Hi there,

I am getting the following error in my debug log – any ideas why this is happening and what I need to do to resolve?

PHP Notice: Undefined index: HTTP_USER_AGENT in /home/stepshea/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-defender/app/module/hardener/component/protect-information-service.php on line 24

    hope you’re doing good today and thanks for reaching us!

    I wasn’t able to replicate this in a couple of servers, but despite that the error message tells us that your server PHP fails to return the following user agent with your browser: $_SERVER[‘HTTP_USER_AGENT’] As this is basically a server setup thing, you should contact your hosting company about it.

    Apart from that, the PHP “notice” means that no procedure is getting halted, so this shouldn’t cause any issues. Regardless of this, I’ve shared this case with Defender’s lead developer, in case we can include some additional checks in code in order to avoid these notices at all. :slight_smile:
