Facebook comments size is fixed

Hey,

I’m using the ultimate Facebook plugin for post comments via Facebook,

But for some rezone it is not responsive i have to set the ‘Facebook Comments box width’ and if i l keep it empty it is automatically set to 550.

And on the front end the width is fixed.

How can i solve this?

Can you try applying this CSS fix and see if that sorts it out:
```
.fb_iframe_widget,

.fb_iframe_widget span {

max-width: 100%;

}
```
If your theme doesn’t have custom CSS field, then you may wish to use a child theme or a plugin like this one for this additional CSS. That way you’re protected when you come to upgrade.

@peter I don’t think these issues are related, but can you try with this CSS code for your problem:
```
.wdfb_like_button .fb_iframe_widget iframe {

max-width: none;

}
```

Thanks a lot works great on smaller screens – and so when I set the Facebook Comments box width to 1200 px it works perfectly.

I have one more stupid question – how do i turn the WordPress comment off (on a WPMU)?

Hey Ido,

Under Facebook > Facebook Settings go to Facebook comments section and enable Override WordPress discussion settings option, this should hide WP comments and leave only FB comment form.

I only have this:

Use Facebook for comments – If checked, Facebook comments will be used instead of, or in addition to, regular WordPress comments.

Hi Ido,

Ok, I see what’s the issue here, Override WordPress discussion settings setting is only available as per site settings which you disabled for Ultimate Facebook.

If you enable per site settings you will see that option in each site Ultimate Facebook settings.

I’m going to check with plugin developer if there’s specific reason why this option is not available network wide.
