[Forminator Pro] Stripe Authorize or Save Credit Card only – not charge

I’d like to use Forminator to build stripe credit card authorization forms for my clients. They would enter their details, agree to terms, enter their payment info and the form would save the credit card to their stripe account for later use, but would not charge them.

    Hello Ryan !

    I’ve confirmed this with the Forminator team and it looks like this kind of feature would be slightly out of the main scope and idea of Forminator as a form/data collection plugin. There are some overlaps here of course, but at this moment we’re focusing on the interactions between the frontend UI part and the data collection part, so we won’t be planning to add this functionality at this stage.

    I’ve additionally checked if we could assist with a custom solution or a snippet and while the frontend part should be possible to do, the Stripe integration part would require custom coding a fairly complex functionality and that’s unfortunately out of scope of our support service.

    In any case, I think here it would be a better idea to create such solution from scratch – sometimes this is easier as you don’t have to work around the existing functionalities to “bend” them in the right direction, in addition to actually coding the new part.
