Global Login for Multisite and List of Users Sites

This is a little unusual workflow but I have very legitimate reasons for this – but not wanting to get into the whole long explanation of why.

I have a multisite network and each sub-site has its own customers/users. After a customer makes a purchase, they are automatically registered as a user of the specific site that they made the purchase from.

The next time they go to log in, I want them to log in from the main site (mydomain.com/login) and then will be presented with links to the sites that they are users of, or simply be re-directed to their one site if they are only registered with one site.

Question 1: Can users of sub-sites login at the main site. Or is there some code or plugin that’s need for this. I do need my returning customers to login from the main site.

Question 2: Do you know the code that would be needed to give them a list of the sub sites that they are registered on.

and Question 2 b: and that would redirect them to their only registered sub site if they are only registered on one site.

1) You need to add them as a user to the main site using a snippet like this one

Then they can login using the main site.

2) You can use this function for it

2b ) You can conditionally add logic if there is just one site to switch to that site instead of echoing the site name

I´m having the network wide login issue also. I want users to be added all the sites automatically.

Just realized that multisite content copier plugin have feature to copy users, would that work?

Wierd that multisite don´t have network wide register/login option..

Yes, but it will copy exiting users, and will not update if there will be new ones.
