Google Analytics plugin – Can we have an SSL option? or disable it on a specific site?

I am using analytics, and trying to have a SSL clean page for my stripe checkout. However, this plugin uses the insecure form of the google analytics tracking code.

Who has suggestions on how to change this? Should i try to modify the plugin to change the URLs of the google analytics tracking script?

I would do exactly that and test to see if it indeed resolves your SSL needs.

Please advise me if it works so that I may approach the lead developer with solid evidence as to why and he can figure out how :slight_smile:

Right on – i will try to play with it. the downside is i cant future proof it. Its just a change in the analytics code section – aka a text change.

When I look at the codes, I see that it should load the https version of the GA for an SSL website:
```
ga.src = ('https:' == document.location.protocol ? 'https://ssl' : 'http://www') + '.google-analytics.com/ga.js';
```
