How do I set up my listings page?

Hi, How do I set up my listings page? It is showing an error message that nothing can be found on this page. When I go to edit page it says that this is a virtual page and editing it wont change anything. I followed the instructions step by step . Where am I suppose to put the shortcodes? What am I doing wrong? Please help!
