How to Resend emails

Would like to know if there is any workaround resending the Welcome Emails containing the username, and password in the Membership 2.

Looking to resend the mails with login and password for certain members who did not receive them (or lost maybe) . Would appreciate if there is any workaround for this.

    Hi Verstraeten ,

    There no option for this out of the box.

    If this happens often perhaps you need to check with your hosting company as emails are not supposed to get lost.

    In any case I have prepared a mu-plugin that would resend that notification. Since passwords can’t be fetched it creates a new password for the user. You can download the mu-plugin from here :

    unzip it and upload the ms_resend_welcome_email.php file to your wp-content/mu-plugins folder (if this folder doesn’t exist you can simply create it).

    After uploading this mu-plugin you should see a new link/button “Resend Welcome email” in the user’s default wp page and in the Membership edit page. You can click it and it will generate a new password for the user and send him the Welcome email again. In case you do not use it often I would suggest to delete the file and upload it only when you need it in order to avoid sending accidental emails. It can be installed as a normal plugin if you prefer, so you can simply de-activate when you don’t need it.
