[Hummingbird] Clear CDN cache on page update

0

The "Clear full cache when page/post is updated" setting under Network Dashboard > Humminbird > Caching > Page Caching appears to not also clear the the WPMU DEV CDN cache. This has to be cleared separately, under Asset Optimization. It would save content editors a lot of time to include CDN cache clearing on page/post update.

    Hi drew_mathers

Hope you are going well

Firstly, let me ask, are you having an issue when updating a post or page?

The Post or Page update not affect the JS/CSS files from the Assets, so when you update a page/post it doesn’t change the assets, and you don’t need to clean the CDN cache, once the assets are loaded from the wp_enqueue(); .

Let me know if you need any further help on this.

    Hi Patrick,

I’m creating pages in Beaver Builder and making frequent CSS updates to change text decoration, element position, background image, etc. So I have to clear the CDN cache manually after each page update. Only then will the changes appear in the browser.

    Hi drew_mathers

    How are you today?

Thank you for clarifying, I believe it could be extended for a new option on Hummingbird Settings.

I will forward this to our developers, also on this FEATURES & FEEDBACK section, other members can vote if the request becomes popular the developer can implement on a future release.

Also, I will keep you updated in case of any news comes up for this request.

    Best Regards,

    Patrick Freitas
