I enabled Mailchimp sync. It works perfectly and new users

I enabled Mailchimp sync. It works perfectly and new users automatically added to the mailchimp list. After new users activating the new account, Pro site already sends out a welcome email. How do I stop mailchimp sending a welcome email or opt in email to the users? I don’t want my new users to receive two emails.

    Thanks for your post.

    Can you kindly clarify that both the plugins are sending separate emails or the same email ?

    What are the Auto Optin settings of the Mailchimp plugin ?

    If you select No the users will be sent an email asking if they want to be added to the newsletter and to confirm by clicking on a link. Is that what is happening ?

    Can you give me a screenshot of the email that is sent to the users from Mailchimp plugin ?

    Hey there,

    sorry for the delay.

    All the registrations on WordPress multisite are done on network level and the users are added to the network site.

    So it should add the subsites users too. If that doesn’t, we are gonna have to request this as a feature for future versions of the plugin.

    Please let me know if that is not working :slight_smile:
