I get a smaller-than sign in front of the sender's name on the emails from Q&A

Whenever q&a sends me an email, the sender’s name has a “<” in front of it.

I checked the q&a settings, but the only part where I put my email (on the report field) has the address right, no “<“

    Thank you, Ari.

I downloaded the translation. But what could it be translated, that would add this on the site’s name as a sender?

Btw, my sister and her family live in a small village in northern Corinthos, Manna, just across Trikala

@Angelos I was unable to verify this… But I have notified the plugin developer about this issue.

My suspicion is that this may be in line 88 of the subscriptions.php file in the plugin’s core folder.

This however is a little above my level of expertise… We’ll wait to see what the developer has to say about it! Hopefully he’ll be able to pinpoint this better than me…

Please keep in mind though that plugin developers have a lot of responsibilities so this might take a bit longer than a normal ticket!

P.S. I’ve never been to Manna… but I hear it’s really beautiful during the winter!

    Cheers,

    Ari.

Standard email address format in the Header would be

    The Name <address@email.com>

So first I’d look at the raw headers to see if they are formatted correctly.

When you have mismatched “<” “>” in html strange things can happen. The leading “<” in an email address is normal the missing trailing “>” would be the worrisome part.
