I want to show popup only once per user session

I would like my hustle popup to only show once per user web session, everywhere on the site but I can’t seem to work out how to do this? Can you help?

I have prepared a custom snippet which you can use as a guide here:

You can download a zip, unzip it and upload file hustle-only-show-once-per-user-web-session.php to your wp-content/mu-plugins folder. If that folder doesn’t exist you can simply create it.

Note, default this MU will enable this feature on Popup and Side-in form, so if you want to disable Slide-in by adding this on the wp-config.php file:
define('WPMUDEV_HUSTLE_PER_SESSION_DISABLE_ON_SLIDEIN', true);

If you are not familiar with mu-plugins you can read about them here:

or you can paste it in your child theme’s functions.php file.

Hi Tho,

Thanks for this! I have added it to functions.php however, it still doesn’t quite work as I would expect. Are there other settings that I need to change in the pop-ups setting the could be clashing with this new code? Do I need to remove all visibility settings?

Sorry, can you try it as an MU plugin instead of? or can you copy only inside the function:
```
wpmudev_hustle_only_show_once_per_user_session_func(){
//copy from here
....
//end here
}
```
