Is there a method to import a php based website into WordPress

I want to try to import this site – https://bit.ly/2MSROCP into a WordPress but keep the current layout (ideally exactly).

I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to import the files in and the settings – I've used HTML Import 2 but i'm not sure about it as it's not been updated for a while, and the output wasn't great either tbh – plus the raw files are php and not html.

Any help will be great

Thanks

    Hi Farzan Ahmed

    I hope you’re well today!

WP HOUS – WordPress Specialist is right on this – you cannot “import” that. You would need to “recreate” the site. While you can usually just “copy and paste’ most of the text content, the “layout” and features is a different thing. WP requires specific structure and code for its themes (that’d be your “layout” and that would need to be either coded from scratch to mimic the original site or at least “clicked out” (so that’d be close to it) using some builder such as for example Elementor, WPBakery Page Builder or similar.

While personally I’m not a big “fan” of a “builders” way (and I’d go for coding from scratch), it might just be faster and easier if the site’s not too complex.

    Best regards,
