is wordpress sql installation required for multisite

Hi,

My wordpress is hosted on blue host and that was before I got to know you wonderful people.

I installed wordpress using simple scripts on bluehost which did everything for me. I’ve made the necessary changes in wp-config.php to enable network under tools.

What I’m trying to figure out now is if I need to make the necessary changes and setup for sql too as indicated on your multipress tutorial.

Please advise.

    Hi there @eric

    I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

    You should be good to go, as long as your wp-config.php is ready with the defines and has the correct database access, nothing should be needed to be done to the database :slight_smile:

    All you should need to do is put your defines in the config and change your .htaccess file as WordPress instructs within the setup of Multisite :slight_smile:
