Low score for image optimization

Greetings. After installing and running Smush I ran a performance test in Hummingbird. The results concern me because the site scores only 31/100 for image optimization. Why is my score not closer to 100 after running Smush?

    Hello Eugeine,

    This is happening because Hummingbird checks two things when it comes to images: compression (quality of images) and size (dimensions).

    WP Smush only change quality images – and on your site you are also loading bigger images than they are displaying. Fox example you have widget-new-launch-kirkney-estate.jpg image on site which is 400x400px – but on page, with CSS it is squeezed to size 258x248px.

    If size of image on site is 258x248px you should load image there with that size, and not bigger one – thats why score is still low.
