Member Got Email Saying Her Membership Has Ended

I just got a copy of the following email:

Hi mysaxifrage,

Your $2/mo Membership at Christian Gays Connections has ended. I hope you have enjoyed the website and made some friends, and that you will continue to help support the ministry.

God bless,

Mary

I have checked her membership status and it is still active. I have checked her PayPal status and it is still active.

Why did she receive this email?

Access is granted.

    I just saw notification in admin for Billing. I checked this and see that invoice #5058-1 for my saxifrage is showing as overdue. I then went into her account and see that there is a button to click to complete the payment subscription, however this woman has now paid me twice. She paid first when she registered on Dec 1, and again on Jan 1. Please see screenshots showing billing overdue, account requiring her to click to complete the payment, and screenshot from PayPal showing that the payment was completed on Jan 1. The interesting thing is that this is saying that it was overdue on Dec 31 when in reality it was not due until Jan 1.

    I submitted this ticket on Dec 31. It is now Jan 4 and this woman’s billing status is still showing as owing, even though it was paid on time via PayPal.

    Is anyone looking into this issue or is it another one that is just being neglected.

    Hi @Mary,

    I hope had been good today!

    I am asking when the user made the payment, their “status” was changed automatically to “active”, so, the account changed from expired to active? The issue is only with the bill.

    I’m trying to understand what could happen, other users are renewing your accounts using the same gateway, this issue only happened with this user.

    In looking at this user’s invoices, I’m seeing two that have come up as drafts:

    Which would match with what you mentioned earlier, about this user paying you twice. It’s curious that these invoices, along with the one for Allan Whitrod (noted in your other thread), are coming up as drafts.

    Can you please check out PayPal’s IPN History, and see if there’s a payment from that time that matches up with either of these payments?

    I received notification that ANOTHER member got an email saying her membership has ended. This MUST be FIXED NOW PLEASE!!!!!

    Attached please see screenshot of #5717-1 AND 5058-1 that are still saying they are overdue. I have already attached PayPal screenshots of payment by 5058. See second screenshot of PayPal payment for 5717.

    Third screenshot shows subscription ID as 5716, NOT 5717, and the expiry date is the day before the payment is due.

    Update: Allan Whitrod (arrowLX) is not able to access Chat. I don't know if the problem is his membership or the chat app but it has now been a week and nothing has been done to resolve this, so in case it is the membership (or lack or membership) I have added him manually and put his start and stop dates as the 4th, since that's when he subscribed and made his first payment.

    Please note that his Payment Gateway is None (Admin) instead of PayPal Standard. Can you please resolve this billing issue, and all the others, ASAP. This has now been going on since Dec 24. It's time to get things fixed!
