Membership 2 makes Buddypress registration form protected

Hi – I want to use the Buddypress registration form for several reasons. When I switch to that and protect the Buddypress pages, the registration form becomes password protected:

but it’s been several days with most of my plugins turned off with no reply. I have Support Access turned on.
