Missing strings for translation

I have translated many plugins to German Language and now they are completed to 100%. But I could notice that many strings seem to be missing and they are still shown in english
For eg. in WPMUDEV Dashboard plugin

    Hello there Tobias

I’ve already pinged our website developers to update all plugin translation files in our site.
We’ll keep you posted here as soon as this is done so you can’t double-check your translations.

I’ve also created a bug report about the reported typos. Really appreciate the feedback on both of these, some points are on your way as a token of appreciation.

    Thank you,
    Dimitris

    • You're welcome

These missing translation are new. When I last checked many languages have been at 100% and my last record (6th January ’20) was: 100% 411/411 strings translated. Something has changed there.
    I will finish it again.

I don’t now if the informations have been communicated… there have been missing strings in nearly all plugins I’d checked. Except Smush Pro as far as I can tell by my basic checks.

    • You're welcome

WPMU DEV Dashboard finished so far.
There was one translation set to fuzzy that was correct, sometimes I do not understand why they become fuzzy.
When they get changed I understand it, but the translator who did it should be informed, to do the correction. Otherwise he wouldn’t know that there has been changed something.

    Hello Tobias D. ,

I’m glad to know that the translation for the WPMU DEV Dashboard is complete.

Strings apart from being pre-flagged as fuzzy, it usually means that it needs inspection plus update. Explaining this further, some strings become fuzzy when the original text is updated. So, in that case, it is a flag for the translator to check them just in case they need an update.

I do agree that it would be really great if the one who translated it gets an email about it informing the same which could be a more fast medium of having the translator’s attention. I am going to pass the feature request about the same.

Should you have any doubts further or need any help, please reply in this thread below and we would be really happy to help you with the same.

    Regards,
    Prathamesh Palve
