Multisite+Membership+Directory order to install?

I see many people with serious issues when using multisite AND Directory or Membership. Most of them have gone inactive, but the conflicts were never resolved. Today is June 25, 2013 I’m running WP 3.5.2; I will be adding Directory 2.2.35 and Membership 3.4.4.1.

My question is: what order? Obviously multisite 3.5.2 first, then Membership or Directory? How do I configure so there is one login for me and my users? Thanks

    thanks for the post

    i would install directory before membership. then get directory looking and working as you want. then setup membership last of all once you have all the pages and so on setup.

    disable registrations in wordpress. membership uses its own system.

    all users can use wp-login.php
