[Other] Hummingbird caching breaks Avada themefusion slider

Activating Hummingbirds caching causes our simple Avada Themefusion slider at the top of https://wendellestate.ca/our-farm/ to hang indefinitely without loading. deactiving caching returns normal behaviour. WPMU Dev currently has access to the backend.

Also, i am attempting to speak to WPMU dev about migrating our website hosting from hostgator but am unable to contact any WPMU staff by phone. Is there no phone customer
service?

Thank you

    Hi Jeremy ,

Thank you for reaching us with this inquiry about Hummingbird compatibility with Avada Themefusion slider.

Upon a quick inspection, I was able to identify that the theme slider was not able to detect the JQuery library. After applying the following tactic, the site started to show the Slider:

    1) Run AO scan, compress and combine everything.
    2) Move to footer everything, except jQuery, jQuery-migrate and core theme Js.
    3) Move back to header what’s showing errors in browser console.
    4) Defer scripts that you don’t need immediately (like a form script or a spam protection script).

I have excluded from the optimizations the CSS assets fusion-dynamic-css and Avada-IE as it would cause the site to look broken for a split second while loading those assets. Right now, the site is loading just fine with only one observation: there is one image missing:

Other than the above, the site is perfect.

Please check the information above and let me know if you need further assistance.

    Have a great day!
