Popup Registration Form Not Working

I have the Registration page set to Register with [subscriptionform] shortcode in the page, along with Popup registration form selected.

No Popup form appears.

Can you tell me which theme you are using?

Trying it out with a default twenty theme would rule out a theme error.

Tersus, got it working now. Trying to change background color from white to black on the popup but code below not working. Any suggestions?

Also tried to shortcut to the popup by placing this button and link in the custom html header, but popup did not work. just got an unformatted page.

I’m afraid you will only be able to use this as a popup, it loses all styling and associated code when it gets pulled out of it’s home.

you can try

in your child theme

I abandoned the popup form. It wouldn’t even let me type in the form. Now, I can’t even get the registration page to work.

The hassles never end with this plugin. The support staff has been great on helping me with the 100 + hours I have wasted on this plugin.

But, I wish I never saw this thing. The frustration feels like Windows 3.0 all over again.

Turns out the form does work, just can’t see the text because it is all different shades of white and light gray.

Got the color formatting right on the popup form, but the registration and login process automatically kicks to the next level subscription – which is deactivated.

There is a white box on the bottom of the fancy box that I cannot figure out how to change to black.

The new user is not registered and the existing user is not logged in, but it may be because I cannot see what is behind the white box.

When trying to customize anything it’s always tough :slight_smile: makes you feel like you are swimming through peanut butter (just made that one up…:wink: recently experienced something similar on a personal project.

So are we now at: the redirect option in the Settings panel is not working?

I am back at the popup window. The problem is that a new registered user, or logged in member, is redirected to the next level subscription window.

I want to eliminate the redirect to the next level subscription window.

I abandoned the popup window again. just trying to get back to the old setup. i am allowing incomplete registrations, people are automatically getting activated, but they are not getting access to any buddypress pages.

i enabled access to all the buddypress pages from the access levels. i also do not have the register page activated on the buddypress menu.
