registered user not showing up on site

Hi,

Users who register on my site are showing up on my wp network admin while some appear on my site’s admin. Then I have to manually go into the site admin page and add them over. I’m using multisite but I have only 1 site. Does that make it the main site? The url is that of the main site, modacustica.com, with no prefix or subdirectory.

What’s causing this inconsistency? All of them register by clicking on the default “register” which appears on the WP admin bar.

Please advise.

Thanks.

best regards,

eric

    tks for the reply, Timothy.

I’ll install the plugin and see if it helps.

This is the problem for some users. They click on “register” and register. However, when they try to log in to the website, they can’t. They get error messages like incorrect passwords. When I check on my end, I can’t find them on the user directory in the main site. However, they show up on the user directory in the network. The next thing I did was to go back to the user directory in the main site and add them manually. Then they can login.

The point I’m trying to make is this. If they can’t even login, then how can they create any activity in the main site?

    Please advise.

    Thanks

    Hey.

    I wasn’t aware they couldn’t log in.

That’s odd, have you been able to reproduce this yourself?

Have they definitely activate their account from the email they receive?

I only ask this because I’ve seen it happen before where they claim to have, but haven’t. If you can recreate the issue and you were activated then I guess it’s something else.

Maybe test for plugin and theme conflicts. This is done by deactivating other themes and plugins, then testing again until the issue goes away.

    Take care.
