Settings won't save despite displaying "updated/saved" notifications

I have just set up this plugin on another site and found it quite simple. When setting it up on this latest site I’m getting strange behaviour when attempting to add a Google Drive destination or save any settings at all.

I’ll select “add new” for a new Google Drive destination. Enter the Destination Name and Directory ID, select “Save Destination” expecting to be prompted to enter further details, as I was with the other site. The “The Destination has been added.” notification is displayed, but nothing else. Returning to “Snapshots > Destinations” none are listed.

I have the same issue when attempting to change anything within “Snapshots > Settings.” The “Settings have been update” notification is displayed, but no values change.

The site is a multisite installation with domain mapping, but so is my other site and Snapshot is working perfectly there. I’m stumped!

I have tried reinstalling the current latest version of WordPress, deactivating and reactivating the Snapshot plugin but neither has helped.

Thanks,

Matt

    Hey Matt,

Hope you’re doing well today! This seems to be working fine for me, I just added the google drive destination successfully. Can you grant support support access so we can take a closer look and see the issue first hand.

You can grant support access via admin dashboard – WPMU DEV > Support > Support Access > Grant Access.

    Look forward to hearing back!

    All the best,

    Tyler

    Hi Tyler,

Access granted. Give it a whirl!

This is a relatively new multisite installation and currently only drives two ‘live’ sites. There is another one still in development and one other that’s just a duplicate I made for testing.

    Thanks for your help!

Hi Matt! Hope you are doing good today

I logged in to your website and can confirm the issue. But I am also unable to reproduce this issue on my sandbox multi site.

So here we will do some troubleshooting, by deactivating/activating other plugins and theme. I did not take risk to do it myself without having FTP access. You can see flow chart to get help at the end of this page.

Please do that and let me know how it goes.

    Cheers, Sajid
