Shutting off comments by default

Is there a way to install wordpress with comments tutned off by default?

    Thanks for posting on the forums.

    Unfortunately there is no way to install WordPress with comments disabled out of the box. But you can disable them as soon as you are done installing WordPress by going in the discussion settings.

    If you can tell me more on why you are trying to achieve it, I can see if I can find out more information on this topic :slight_smile:
