Slider image display failure

I use Revolution Slider to create slideshows on my sites. Once I started "smushing" and serving my photos from your CDN the slideshows became unable to find the photos. Oddly enough when I "preview changes" the sliders work, but when I view the site live they don't. I inspected the code from Chrome and found a difference. Please see screen caps: http://shorethingadvertising.com/wp-content/wpmudev/preview.png and http://shorethingadvertising.com/wp-content/wpmudev/live.png.

What am I doing to cause this problem?

Thanks,

~Bob

    Hello BWeb,

Thank you for coming to our support.

Sorry to see you are facing issue with Smush.

Could you check if you have Smush Lazyload activated? I checked and we have reports about image lazyload is making some issues with Revolution slider.

To fix this issue would you please try:

    1. Excluding the page you have Revolution slider, you can put your page URL into that Post, Pages & URLs box.

    2. Or just put this class .rev-slidebg into Classes & IDs box. It will exclude lazyloading the revolution slider specific background images.

    3. Or deactivate the Smush –> Lazyload and check if this fixes the issue.

[please look for the related screenshots in my next comment]

If the above steps doesn’t solve the issue, then I would like to investigate this issue at my own.

Would you please enable support access so that I can check? Please follow this article to enable support access: https://wpmudev.com/docs/getting-started/getting-support/#chapter-5

Also, please provide the revolution slider name and the page URL where you are displaying the slider. Hence this is a public forum, you can mask the domain name in your URL as like this https://shoreth***sing.com/slider-page.

    Kind regards,

    Ohid

    Ohid,

Smush wouldn’t accept options 1 or 2. When I input the url or class exclusion(s) and clicked Save, the input fields returned to their blank state and didn’t save.

Turning off Smush DID work. The sliders display properly now.

Thanks for your timely response and solution,

    ~Bob

    Hello BWeb,

Smush should have always save the Post, Pages & URLs and Classes & IDs input fields info. I have tried it on my end and it works for me. I’m not sure why it’s causing issue on your end.

I would like to get support access to website to investigate this issue in more detail.

Also I would like to get the debug log information to check whether there’s any issue not saving the input fields information. In order to access the debug log file, I need to access to your files via FTP.

Would you like to send FTP credentials?
