[Smartcrawl] Sitemap missing URLs, but they are there

Smartcrawl Sitemap crawl says i have 194 missing URL’s when in single sitemap mode, and they seem to be missing from the sitemap.xml even when adding them by clicking the add missing urls to sitemap button.

In split sitemap mode, it reports over 798 missing URLs, tho, from looking at many of them, they are actually in the sitemap xml files, so I’m not sure why smartcrawl is saying they’re missing.

    Hi Courtney Boyer

    I hope you’re well today!

I checked the site and sitemaps and tried to sort that out on the site. Usually, just adding those URLs by clicking on “Add all” button below the report and the re-crawling site should solve that but in this case it didn’t work. Furthermore, it seemed like the “adding” process also got stalled.

I’ll need a consultation from our developers on this so I’ve already reported it to them and asked for help. However, since you didn’t provide any direct access credentials and support access is, unfortunately, only time-valid, please make sure that it’s kept open until this is solved so our developers could actually access the site and check it.

Please keep an eye on this ticket for further information and we’ll be updating you here as soon as we get to know more.

    Kind regards,
    Adam

    Hey Courtney Boyer!

After a new crawl the issue has gone and sitemap works fine. All your extra links are under extras-sitemap1.xml sitemap.

Check out your sitemap and let us know if it works for you as well.

    Kind regards,
    Alessandro.

      Hi Geoff

In this particular case just another scan simply helped as far as I’m aware but I don’t have details as this ticket is over two years old.

If you are experiencing similar issue, please start a new support ticket of your own here:

      https://wpmudev.com/forums/forum/support#question

Please describe the issue and make sure that support access to the site is open so we could check it. To grant support access, go to the “WPMU DEV -> Support -> Support Access” page in site’s back-end and click on “Grant support access” there.

We’ll then check it and assist you.

      Kind regards,
      Adam
