[Smush Pro] Smush shouldn’t mention WP Rocket as image optimization plugin

When the plugins Smush and WP Rocket are both activated, users get to see the following message:

[attachments are only viewable by logged-in members]

This statement is not true, as WP Rocket is not an image optimizing plugin. Therefore this message shouldn’t be shown and I would like this message to be removed as it’s also showing for clients in the backp-end.

I guess the confusion comes from the fact that WP Rocket has a page where it advertises the plugin Imagify. But WP Rocket itself is not an image optimization plugin.

    Hi Dominique ,

I hope you are doing well today!

This warning is shown due to the media optimization options under WP Rocket->Media which includes Image Dimensions, WebP and Lazy Loading which will create conflicts with Smush when you use the same feature. You can click Dismiss if you are not using the same features on both plugins and the message will be removed.

    Kind regards,
    Zafer

      Hi Zafer,

Thanks for clearing that up. I guess my clients and myself have to live with this, then.

To be honest: I gave up on Hummingbird as I am getting way better results in Google PageSpeed with WP Rocket. So I am using WP Rocket for page caching and such.

It would be good if WP Rocket and Smush would work together more if they have conflicting functionality.
