[The Hub Client] White Labeling domain email experience

2

Hi- I’m a bit surprised that this isn’t already in place, but no whitelabeling is active on the domain purchasing/transfer email experience.

When signing up a new domain,These emails come from “your domain info” which does not sound legitimate at all, and leaves clients confused as it does not come from my company’s name. This is compounded when these emails are asking them to verify information they they do not understand.

I’d like at minimum for these emails to be aligned with the basic white label branding already present on the main Hub client emails- showing my logo and company name in place of “your domain info”.

In the future, it would be super beneficial to have more granular control over the verbiage of these automated emails, and to enable/disable which ones send.

Lastly, I noticed the action button in any of these emails, even the default branded Hub email does not inherit the primary accent color set within the global Hub settings, which again diminishes from the branded experience these emails could have.

Thanks for looking into this.

    Hi John

I hope you are doing well.

Hi- I’m a bit surprised that this isn’t already in place, but no whitelabeling is active on the domain purchasing/transfer email experience.

I am afraid it is not that simple, the domain we send emails to is unbranded since emails are sent from our API and different from the HUB report for example, or client billing where you can send from primary HUB, we don’t have yet any integration to the HUB client, so either the email sender or colours won’t inherit from your settings.

However, the HUB Client domain reseller is under development and it is going to be the first step to keep improving this user experience, I don’t see any information about how it will handle the emails but I forwarded your request to the HUB team.

    Best Regards

      Thanks Patrick Freitas

It’s very nice that you include examples of all emails in your documentation. I hadn’t seen that yet.

Will it be possible in the (near) future to translate these emails as well? I wouldn’t like having these emails sent to my clients in English. It will cause confusion.

The copy is also a little bland, “Dear Registrant” I would put the Registrant’s name here instead for example. The date/time formats used in the mails are not correct for where I live.

If we could put some extra copy and links in the footer of these mails to provide our clients with links to our support and documentation in case they need help or have a question about anything domains related, that would be very nice too.

Don’t know if all of this is possible but I’m just trying to think of ways to make these mails even better and more personal and on-brand

    Hi Julian

    Thank you for response!

I fully understand your concerns about that but as may colleague already mentioned – currently it’s not possible. Patrick has already passed over all your suggestions to our HUB Team so they’ll review it and look into possibilities of improvements in that area but at this point we are not able to say for sure when will it happen and to what degree it will be possible.

But I can confirm that it will be looked into so hopefully we’ll be able to make it better in future.

    Kind regards,
    Adam
