The page styling is terrible on this page:

The page styling is terrible on this page: http://wood.hobartwebsitedesign.com.au/woodworking-courses/

The plugin is over-riding the default theme styling and making a real mess of things.

I have been unable to find out any documentation on this site on how to adjust the styling.

While I ca change the css styles in the plugin, there must be a better way.

Can you help me please.

    Hi there @Peter

I hope you are well today, you could create a custom template, using the existing templates as a base from choosing from default-templates/

    say, default-templates/default/

    or default-templates/calendar

archive is for list view, Or Single

    Thank you!

    Kind Regards

    Jack.

    Thank you Jack,

    Nice and quick service.

I am new to your Community and just finding my way.

Could you please point me in the right direction about how I can create a template. Is there some documentation about this please.

    Hi there @Peter

Sure of course and Welcome!

There are a couple of options here, you could go into default-templates and then take a look at the files in the current existing templates, copy them to a new folder within the default-templates folder, it would have a php file and a css file, that would then be selectable in events > settings > appearances where you can check the box to override the default appearance for your custom template.

Or and this is a possibly a better option is to copy over the “archive-incsub_event.php” and “single-incsub_event.php” into your themes root directory, customize the output and then add the custom css to your theme if needed, that will stop it getting overwritten on an update

    Thank you!

    Kind Regards

    Jack.

    Thank you Jack,

I am not expert in php but would like do this.

Can you confirm that the two files mentioned above would affect the layout that I have on this page.

    http://wood.hobartwebsitedesign.com.au/woodworking-courses/

I am using the following shortcode to display this page: [eab_single id=115][eab_single id=117] etc..

The reason I asked is that I tried some changes to the two files you mentioned above and nothing happened. I even deleted them temporarily and still no affect so I am a little confused.

    Regards

    Peter

    Hi there @Peter,

Thanks for the additional information, using them shortcodes, using the single-incsub_event.php should effect it, but no changes are visible?

With the class_eab_template.php, that would be overwritten with a plugin update.

    Please advise

    Thank you!

    Kind Regards

    Jack.

Hi Jack, I seem to have lost the payments system so I am going to re-install the application to get it back to a default condition. I will let you know tomorrow.

I really do appreciate the good service, thank you.
