Time Zone For Store Doesn't Match WP Time

Hi, I’ve noticed for years now that Marketpress seems to record orders in a different time zone than what is setup in WordPress settings. For instance, an order today 6:18PM Central Time in already registering as yesterday. Is there a way to change that? Thank you!

    First of all you can’t directly change order placed time except directly modifying database which is not advisable for many other reasons.

    I’ve tested Marketpress on my sandbox site to know how it is storing order placed timing.I got to know that it stores timing according to timezone settings defined in Settings > General > Timezone

    Please set your timezone via Settings > General > Timezone and see how your order timing handled. :slight_smile:

    HI Milan,

    Thanks for getting back to me. Yes, it’s set correctly in WordPress on this and other sites I manage, but the daily orders count on the dashboard is set to something else. Perhaps, the time where wpmudev is located? Or perhaps, the hosting service time zone? I’ve never been able to figure it out, but it seems about 6 hrs ahead or so. It resets before the day is over.

    Hope you are doing well. :slight_smile:

    That’s because plugin uses your host Server timezone. You’ll need to ask to your hosting provider to change server timezone to your local timezone. Then it will be fine. However I am flagging this for feature request to developer. Hopefully they will consider this soon. :slight_smile:
